CRT, PS and Dreams Unlimited ???

Hi,
I'm using DU for the first time and I have a few questions about PS that I thought DISers would be able to help me with.

On my past few trips, I had one or two days that I would prefer to have a CRT PS (say, for example, day 5 or 7 of the trip), but I got up every day to call for CRT PS in case I couldn't get the exact day I wanted at least I had a chance to get soemthing and I would work around it in my itinerary. I'd rather get to go on any day than just wait for my preferred day and miss out!

Now, with DU to make the PS for me, do I give them the one or two days I prefer and risk not getting them or do they call for each day and just let me know if I got a day? Just curious how that works since I am used to doing this on my own.

I used a different TA. I told her the day i wanted and told he what ever she can get earliest perfered and she got them for me. You would tell her what day(s) to go fpor and she will get them. I was told they hold a block of them for TA.

I'm not sure how it works with TA's, but I doubt they are on the phone at 7:00 AM trying to get that PS for you. Even if I used a TA, I'd still get up and make those calls for the PS just in case. You can always cancel one. But then again, I'm kind of a control freak...

We are using DU too! I really wanted CRT for our first morning. Our agent wasn't too concerned about getting it even though the day it needed to be called in she was away on vacation and there will be 11 in our group. She assured me another agent would take care of it. Well they did get it for us! I knew very early that day it was all taken care of. Thanks Sue Ellen and DU!
(Ofcourse I don't think it would hurt to have a 2nd choice day either).

I have used DU for our upcoming trip and been working with Marsha. While we were not going for CRT she has booked every single reservation we have asked for (and changed some a few times). She's the best to work with!

Oh yes - there are many of us that do this for people that book with us

I also used Dreams Unlimited for our trip in August and he was able to get us the Ice Cream Social with no problem. I did find it easier though to just make the remainder of my PS's myself. I've made 5 so far by myself and found it to be much easier then calling my agent and waiting and hoping.. You don't have to use Dreams to get PS's.. You can book them yourself..
