CRT Prepay?

I just got and got lucky- having lunch (by myself) at CRT for my upcoming November trip. The CM that I spoke to said that this is a prepaid event. I thought they only took your credit card info down and would charge if you didn't make your ressie. Is this something new or has it been around awhile?

IF you are using the dining plan, and stated that at the time of booking, the credit card is only charged it you do not chow up or cancel.

IF you do not have the dining plan, or did not tell them you have the plan, then your card will be charged in full for the price of the meals in your party.

Thanks!! I have always used the dining plan before so didn't know that they charged your card immediately if you didn't.

We are on the DDP but have informed them that we aren't using our plan for this meal and they took the CC info and said it was to "prepay" but it never was charged. We will be paying cash Wednesday morning
