We are a family of 9 (6 adults 3 kids) plus 2 infants. Our 180 day window opens on Thursday. We want to book CRT. Currently we are booked but without a dining plan. If we don't have a dining plan booked I'm understanding that we will have to pay in full for our CRT reservations when we make the reservation. If we do have the dining plan booked we only have to give them a cc# to hold our reservation...is all of this correct? Wow, I am struggling with paying $450 6 months in advance!!! Is it still very difficult to get CRT reservations if you don't reserve well in advance?

One more question...if I pre-pay, then add DDp at a future date, will they refund the pre-payment? Does anyone know if they refund immediately upon booking DDP or will they wait until we show up for our reservation?

Yes, that was how it worked when we went this past Sept. I just had to leave a CC# on file for the reservation.

Why don't you add the DDP the day before your 180th day to your reservation? You would have more time to pay for the reservation with the meal plan than putting out $450 for the one meal.

What about if you have Tables in Wonderland? They charge you the full amt for prepay. How do you get your discount?

If you add the ddp later, yes, you can get a refund of the pre-payment. As to when you get it -- it depends in the skill of the cm on the phone. There is a way to process the refund immediately, but many CMs don't know how to do it -- in which case you get the refund when you appear for your reservation.
