CRT payment question

I'm going to CRT while on Dining Plan. We had planned on using our dining credits to eat there, but now after seeing the value, we'd rather pay out of pocket for it. Can I tell them when I get there that I'd like to pay for it with my DDE card?

When I booked for CRT last October, I had to pay in full at the time of the reservation. My credit card was charged at the time of booking. If you want to use DDE, I would assume you would need to tell them when making the reservation. I don't know much about the card, but I imagine it has a number they would use to confirm it.

We have booked the CRT for an upcoming trip in December. We are on the DDP... we had to secure the reservation with a credit card BUT chose not to be charged at that time... We decided we would rather pay cash for this breakfast instead of using two TS credits... Our thought was that two dinners would cost more than the breakfast.

I did secure the reservation with my CC, but they didn't charge it as I am on the Dining Plan. That's what I've decided as well. I went a little crazy about making ADRs and I have 11TS credits when I'm only staying 7 nights. We're paying out of pocket for 3 breakfasts which is 4 credits.

I just wanted to make sure that I could do that. If not I might have to change my mind about eating there.

worry about it when you get there. tell your server you want to pay OOP and you have DDE. Although the DDE discount isn't that impressive at CRT (you get less than 20% because it doesn't include the photo package).

We were told that you need to tell the waitress/waiter at the beginning of the meal as to how you were playing for it...

To calm your fears just call the ADR line and ask them how this works.
