Okay, I've tried for two months to book a ressie for six at CRT. It finally dawned on me, book a four top and a two top. Yes, there is availability for this scenario. Of course, online reservations won't allow booking, two ressies, under the same name. I called guest services, and they don't know why, CRT will not allow bookings for "large" parties..six or more, "it's been a problem". The CM can't change the name on my ressie, but said, "they will notice, there are two reservations with the same last name, at the same time..."

This is CRAZY!!! Where's my brick wall???

That should work!

It does accept parties of 6. We had a table for 6 in 2008.

it does accept tables of 6 except there's really few of them. Right now for our party of 8 I have 2 tables for 4 booked.

I did book, one under DH. I had a ressie for 7 last year, and in years past. I have tried since April to book with no luck. I know, CRT is tough to book and I am not an amateur. The CM said, they were having technical issues with large parties and we would be together, because they would notice the name and time. I found this odd and frustrating.
