Seems to be a lot of talk about birthdays at restaurants lately. I made a dinner ressie at CRT for DD's 4th birthday. THe CM asked for her name and wrote it on the ADR. Since then I've been wavering between keeping the ADR or making it for PArk Fare. My DD loved the Prince and Cindy. The castle doesn't have characters I just realized, only in the lobby. So I made an ADR for PArk Fare this morning in case I change my mind. THE CM did not ask for her name or anything. So I don't know which ADR to cancel. I want my DD to have a great 4th birthday dinner.

Since when? My DD5 had her birthday party...along with 7 other squealing 5 year olds in princess costumes (talk about herding cats) in CRT and they got pictures with most of the princesses that do a rotation and come to all the tables. Plus they gave her a magical moments certificate and the table was decorated with confetti.

The CRT dinner just changed recently, you can see it on allears.net.her party sounded great!

Just got back 1 week ago- did both for both my girls- both had bdays on our trip...
We had a nice time at 1900 and the mice were precious with my oldest(8) and Cinderella was sweet too- we pre-ordered castle cakes- precious!
But,
WE LOVED the CRT BDAY! We did a supper- and our table was decorated and the GodMother and the Mice were so attentive and sang too and played with my girls! We pre-prdered the slippers for the girls and it was precious!!!
We LOVED our CRT experience and the food was WAY better than 1900 and better than I read on the forum! The waitresses bring out a cupcake when they acknowledge bdays in the little performance by FGM and Mice...very cool!

It was very magical for our little family! I was not sure at first but I am glad we did the supper!:)

I think it all depends whos there and how busy they are at either place.

We have my DD's birthday scheduled at 1900 Park Fare because we did CRT breakfast last year and no way think its worth 2 TS credits but...

When we were at CRT for breakfast last year, the little girl next to us, it was her birthday. The table was decorated, she got a card. But the waiter must have forgot. The mother tried to remind him without the little girl hearing but by the time he brought the cupcake the characters were gone and just the waiter and mom sang a rushed version of Happy Birthday. The little girl was thrilled, but I felt bad none the less.

At 1900 Park Fare they will bring a complimentary cupcake or you can order a custom cake or dessert (castle cakes, Cinderella slipper dessert, etc). They characters - will come to the table and sing normally. I think most restaurants if there is birthday in the party will decorate the table in some way and/or give you a card. If you want to ensure they have the info call back and have them add that there is a birthday in your party.

We had DDs birthday party at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and it was wonderful. We also had dinner there a couple weeks later and were very pleased with the experience as well!

The castle has characters at breakfast and lunch - Cinderella is in the lobby, but the other Princesses and Fairy Godmother circulate the dining room. We did not do a birthday here, but DD and I enjoyed our breakfast a few weeks ago.

From reading allearsnet.com it is not clear to me what the character situation is - it says it is hosted by Fairy Godmother, while breakfast and lunch say they continue to be Princess-themed? I have not experience with dinner, so that is as much as I can offer.

Maybe you could switch from dinner to breakfast or lunch.
