CRT or Akershus for breakfast

I currently have a ressie in May for CRT breakfast. We loved it last May but we would not like the adult choices they currently have. If we could order the kids version and get potatoes, then that would be great. We'd still go in a heartbeat. The kids want the swords again which I'm not sure they get at Akershus. If they do give swords at Akershus, then I'd go there. But I don't know if they do. Can anyone tell me if you can get any of the choices at CRT for breakfast since it's all you can eat and whether or not Akershus gives swords????

No swords at Akershus BUT they have a really good breakfast!!!

I thought the boys got swords only at CRT but I could be wrong. I have never been to either, but definitely will be taking DD to Akershus for breakfast and possibly CRT for lunch or dinner.

We just did both this past Dec I would have to say out of the two we enjoyed Askershus the most. Liked the small appie buffet. The characters didn't seem as rushed and over all mood of the room seemed a bit more relaxed. No swords. We did get wands for the girls and swords for the boys at CRT.

We did both on our last trip a few weeks ago. CRT for lunch (I believe the princesses are not there at dinner, but I could be wrong) and Akershus for breakfast another day. The CRT wasn't bad for lunch. My DW liked the pasta choice as it was a "normal" meal.

Differences between the two:
1) CRT had Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle come to our table. You get your picture taken with Cindy before you get sat at your table.

2) Ak had Cindy, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty come to your table. In past years, Mulan was also there, but not this year. You get your picture taken with Belle before you get sat at your table.

3) CRT you get the wands and swords, AK, you don't.

4) As part of your meal, you get a copy of the picture they take before you get sat at both places (w/Cindy at CRT and w/Belle at AK). You also get a picture of the castle at CRT. We had a party of 3 adults and two kids (4 and 2) and we got 1 free pose at AK but 2 free poses at CRT (one with my 4 yr old DD and one with the entire party).

5) AK's food isn't bad, it was actually a lot better than Chef Mickey's. CRT was pretty good food.

Okay so no swords at Akershus... Can anyone confirm whether or not you can get any of the breakfast choices at CRT? Can an adult get french toast sticks, potatoes, and sausage if they wanted to since it's all you can eat???? That's the million dollar question for me... Thanks!

My DS12 did this, it was basically an adult sized kids' meal. He didn't get extras, but I think the waiter said you could. I don't remember potatoes being on his plate. BTW, I asked for an omelette without the spinach and the waiter said they were premade so they don't deviate much from the adult menu. I ordered the stuffed french toast and it was really good. We also ate at Akershus and it was good too. They have really good potatoes.

We really enjoyed them both. We actually had better princess interaction at CRT this time which was in November, but when we went in March it was the opposite.
