CRT lunch

I was hoping someone out there could tell me how the CRT lunch menu is and how long I could expect to be there. I have a 2 year old and am concerned that the 1:20 ADR is going to be an issue. I was hoping to get an earlier lunch, so that I could get him back in the room for his naptime. (However, I am well aware that I am lucky to get the 1:20 ADR !! ) Also does anyone know if I will have to pay the full child's meal price for him at CRT or can I share my meal and then pay for a separate dessert for him? $24 for lunch for a 2 yr old is a little much, but my 5 yr old is going to love being in the castle, so it will be worth it if there are no alternatives. I am really struggling to remember how long our lunch was...I want to say it was about 1-1/2 hours when it was all said and done. They are fairly efficient with it, but it takes time to visit with the characters.

You can share your meal with DS2, but I don't think that you can order a separate dessert for him. Because CRT is a package deal, I don't think you can order individual menu items. Unless your DD5 eats a lot, though, there should be plenty of food to go around. When we went in March, they had kid's complete meal, which isn't shown on either menu. It included pasta with marinara, grilled chicken, green beans, and fruit, and he chose the sundae for dessert. I wonder if they still have that menu item? It was a lot of food!

We did CRT lunch 2 years ago. My DH and DD hated the food, but loved the magic. I LOVE that the picture is now included. We paid $50 for the picture alone!!!
