Not sure If I am understanding this right but with the new price increase comes a picture package. This is included in the prices?? Additional are extra?? Here is the add let me know what you think it means?

Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

A photo package is included and you can purchase additional photos if you want. Breakfast and lunch are character meals. The photo package is of cinderella and your group in the lobby of restaurant .I can't wait for my crt lunch in april :cool1: I would love to see examples of the photos at crt, if anyone has any to post!!!!!!!

So... CRT is now $40 per adult even for breakfast... And part of that is you get this little photo package where you get no choice, you have to pay for it? (well, since it is included in the dinner price...)

I just made reservations for dinner and its also pre paid meal , but you get a limited edtion, only available if you eat during dinner ,cinderella lithograph print. Not sure if the picture package is included too!

Yes, all three meal seatings now include the photo package. Breakfast and lunch are still princess character meals. I was very disappointed last fall when I couldn;t order the cinderella chocalate slipper dessert! I know now that you can call wdw dining and get the direct number for crt and order in advance. I believe another thread said they are $10.50. I can't wait for our lunch to see our slipper dessert!!! :goodvibes

We just dined at CRT for lunch a week ago (our first time) and they were already doing pictures in the lobby with Cinderella. I think the difference between now and when the price changes on 2/1 is that now the photos are not included in the price of the meal -- they brought our photo folder to our table to let us look, and then we paid the photo-bringing-guy separately for it. For $30 we got a lovely pink folder with "A dream is a wish your heart makes" on the front, and inside a photo of the castle along with our photos of our kids.

Hmmm. If they're charging $30 for it now, seems that they're trying to make it seem like a much better "deal" in February. "see, for $40 you get breakfast AND this $30 photo package!"

Here's a photo of the front of the photo folder:

This is a (sorta blurry) close up of the quote on the front, and the CRT logo:

This is the inside of the folder, with the castle photo on left and the group photo on the right. (the additional 4x6 photos are in an envelope in behind the castle pic.)

And this is the back of the folder, embossed with a little tale about the CRT experience:

I guess personally I like the folder, but I prefer having the option of buying it or not -- I wouldn't like having to pay for it up front as part of the meal, esp. since if they're charging $40 fixed price for the meal, that's what the tax and tip will be based on too.

I have been to a lot of meals where they take the pictures and try to sell them to you at the table. I have ALWAYS bought them. So, for me, the price of the meal is not bad at all considering I am getting the pictures. Like you said, if you figure $30 for the pictures, that's a good deal for a princess meal!

However, I think the pictures should still be a choice rather than raising the overall price, but for ME PERSONALLY it works out well. :thumbsup2

My breakfast at Akershus ended up costing about $70 because I bought the pictures of dd with Belle. I can't resist them (unless they're really bad).

My problem with the new increased price is that you are paying substantially more per person yet you only get ONE photo package per group. So the price increase doesn't really cover the 'free' package if you have more then one adult in your party. The more adults you have the less of a deal the photo package is.

I heard that if you have 5 or more in your group you get 2 photo packages. Does anybody know if this is true?
