CRT Lunch Menu

Hi all! Just booked a 12 o'clock lunch at CRT this November. My son will be turning 6 years old that day, and even though he could care less about the princess', he is very eager to get to eat in the castle. I plan on calling ahead to order him a slipper dessert for the occassion. All Ears Net have the current WDW restaurant menus listed so I've been using that as a guideline for where to eat. CRT lunch states that Cinderella has her cooks prepare appetizers of the house. Okay-so what's that? Anyone been to CRT for lunch recently and care to elaborate? Oh, do you think I could also order my other son a Royal Crown Ice Cream for dessert at lunch? It doesn't look to be on the menu. Thanks Disers!

Hi. We just had CRT for lunch last week and it was WONDERFUL. The apps that we were started with (they provided, we didn't choose) were a platter with grapes, ham, and cheese, a small salad, and a marinated chicken breast. It was all great. We all choose the Major Domos Favorite Pie ( I think that is the correct name) as I had eaten it before and it is the best thing that you will eat in all of DW. My DD2 ate chicken strips and was given the chocolate crown and ice cream as her dessert. We had a chocolate cheesecake muffin with ice cream on top. Again, the best dessert that you will have in DW. This was such a wonderful meal that we plan on continuing it from now on each time that we go to DW. We also do this with the Princess breakfast in Epcot. I hope that you enjoy CRT.

I am looking for specifics on the Major Domos- was the meat ground beef or like roast beef or steak? Was is tender? Was it cooked well done?
Were there any mushrooms in it?

When we had it is was like shredded slow roasted stewing/braising steak like you'd have in a stew or casserole. Melted in your mouth, it was absolutely gorgeous. It might've had some button mushrooms in it, but I'm sure they'd do it without.

Anyone else remember if it had mushrooms? I can't eat mushrooms but would like to try it.

It seems as if it is a preplated type meal so leaving the mushrooms out might not be an option.

It is great! When I had it last week it did not have mushrooms. I would not have eaten it if it did. YUCK to mushrooms!
