CRT Lunch - can we order an extra dessert and pay a la carte?

Wasn't able to get breakfast at CRT so am trying lunch. My 6 year old generally eats what adults eat, so we'll probably gravitate toward the "kids complete meals" which seem more interesting than just pizza. However, the "dessert" for these meals is just yogurt. Does anyone know whether I can order an extra dessert off the adult menu and pay an a la carte price for it?

Thanks!

you could tell them that she doesn't eat yogurt and ask for a substitute! They are pretty good about that. I'm not sure about buying an additional dessert...sorry

Why not just order a slipper dessert, that's a white chocolate slipper filled w/mouse with fresh fruit on the side. They'll write their name and a message on the plate. It's about 12.50. You'll need to call Private Dinning at the Contempary to order. My DGD just loves it! And, I'd think you little one would too!

Enjoy! Karen

Thanks! If I don't hear any responses about a la carte I will be sure to order a specialty dessert (a la the slipper) before we head down.

And, a little more, when ordering a slipper dessert, you'll need to call private dining at the Contempary within two weeks of your CLT reservation. Here's a picture of this dessert, which my DGD said is one of her favorite things to eat at WDW.

The slipper dessert is $15.50 at CRT and must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. It's $15.00 at 1900 Park Fare.

They let my children order an icecream sundae. It was a cup of icecream with chocolate and an adorable chocolate crown on top. We were on the dining plan and didn't have to pay extra.

We usually go to CRT for dinner but my DD has always gotten the chocolate crown sundae for her dessert.

I believe CRT is all you can eat therefore you should be able to order an extra dessert at no cost.
