I heard it was difficult to get an adr for crt and was wondering if anyone knew if it will be difficult to get one for this time or year and meal, supper?

Also is it worth it?

Thanks

HI - CRT usually sells out BF, L, D - in that order. The reason being is that the princesses appear at the BF and L seatings, but not dinner.

Either way, CRT is a hard ADR to get, so you should plan on calling at 180 days to get the best availability.

Good Luck!

At dinner Cinderella is in the lobby and I think maybe Fairy Godmother and maybe the mice do something in the dining area at dinner. I haven't been to that one for dinner in a few years, maybe someone who has been recently can answer exactly what the character entertainment is at lunch and dinner.

At breakfast there is full roster of princesses that rotate through the dining room.

I think one of the reasons it sells out so quickly for breakfast is the variety of princesses and the fact you can make an early ADR and get into the park early and then still have some nice time to ride rides when its early and not crowded.

As to if it its worth it, well that depends. Its really nice to eat in the castle and I sort of think everyone should do it at least once. But its very pricey and the food is not that spectacular. I am not sure I would use two credits if I was on the DDP to eat there. When I ate there it was not as expensive and since they made the changes, I haven't been back. But I am glad that I got to go a couple of times back when my daughter was younger, it was truly a magical experience.

If you are looking for princesses and not necessarly being inside the famous Cinderella Castle, I might suggest the princess meal at Norway in Epcot. Princesses at all three meals, cheaper and while some people find the Norweigan fare they serve at lunch and dinner too strange, their breakfast is just standard American fare served family style. If Cinderella is your main emphasis, she has a dinner over at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and generally Prince Charming, her step sisters and step mother are there with her for dinner (breakfast is not Cinderella at all for this one but rather Pooh and Alice). Its also cheaper but again, obviously not in the castle.

I agree with the above poster that you need to call at the 180 day mark to be safe if you decide to do this meal. Even though thats not a tremendoulsy busy time for your trip, this place always sells out all year long.

I think if you call at your 180 day mark then you will be able to get the day you want especially if you are flexible with the time. I know it can be hard to get the ADR you want at CRT but I have always called at 180 days out and have always gotten the day and time I wanted so don't worry :goodvibes

I was there a few weeks ago with dh, dd2, and dd1. I can say it was well worth it for us! We were there for supper and eating at the castle was absolutely amazing! Although we didn't get to see Cinderella much, my girls were happy just knowing they were in her castle. Next time, we will probably try breakfast or lunch just to get some more princess interaction. Oh, and my food was awesome!

Hi there! Can I ask who was around in the dining room for dinner? I've seen conflicting things, from only Fairy Godmother, to Fairy Godmother and mice. I currently have ADR's for both a breakfast and a dinner, and I'm thinking I may cancel one of them... not sure which...?

Who besides Cinderella is there at breakfast?

We have not done dinner (hoping too in Oct), but at our breakfast in Feb, Cinderella is in the lobby and inside we met Marry Popping, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Belle (blue dress). My DD was in HEAVEN!!!!

That sounds great! Thanks for your response!! :goodvibes

IMO I would keep breakfast and cancel dinner if you were trying to decide between the two- especially if you want princesses, princesses, and more princesses.

We also went in Oct and ate breakfast there on DD's 4th birthday. Princesses there that AM were Cinderella (in lobby), Jasmine, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.

Have fun- we did. The food was so-so, but we went for the experience of eating in the Castle with princesses- after all it was DD's birthday and it was all about making her day special, and it was.

Edited to add- I was lucky enough to make my ADR for CRT past the 180 day mark and still get it. I think I called at 150/160 days or thereabout; we decided *late* (haha) that we would go to WDW for her birthday.

Thanks for the great info! :goodvibes

You know, I didn't make our reservations until about 140 days out either and got both a breakfast and dinner reservation! I thought I would just give i a shot even though it was "late", but it wasn't a problem. Maybe things have just gotten WAY easier since they started offering lunch and dinner as well??

Interested in info on dinner at the castle. We are getting married this November in WDW and we want to eat dinner in the castle the night after our wedding. There is a MVMCP this night and we want to attend this with some of our bridal party. Two people from our bridal party are celebrating their birthdays the day after and two days after our wedding - so this is really a celebration.

We have done lunch and have heard so much about breakfast but we were really wondeirng about dinner. Which characters attend dinner, how is the food and what time does the castle open for dinner. As we are attending the party that night we will be entering the park at 4:00. Also, do you need to pay for the dinner when you make the reservations?

Thanks,
Linda
