Should we do Lunch or Dinner? We have a 6 year old DS. He wants to eat in the castle because we never have. We will not have a stroller, so I don't know if carrying the sword for the day will be a problem or not. If so, then maybe Dinner? Is one better for the Castle as far as the windows looking nice?

We chose lunch, based solely on various members in our party wanting the Major Domo's Pie (and it isn't an option on the dinner menu). ;)

CRT is a Family Tradition...

We've done Lunch and Dinner....but as of late.... we've enjoyed Dinner the most... it's usually an Early dinner.... 4p or so.... but WONDERFUL!

Thank you for understanding that a BOY will LOVE CRT! So many peg this one as "Girls only"...

my 18 yr old son LOVES CRT....and has been there 10 or more times.....

Hugs,
Mary

When we go we're doing dinner. Since it is 2 ts credits I feel like I get more for my money.

Agree. For the price CRT is charging -whether it being 2 TS for the DDP or the $ for those doing OOP), I find dinner has a lot more value for it's money. Real appetizers instead of a platter of mwah -for our families likings, nobody hit me please ;) -. Also nicer entrees that fit our tastes better.

So, does dinner have children's options?

The site I'm looking at shows children's menu options (chicken strips, a pasta/tomato sauce) on the lunch menu, but not on dinner (and no seperate children's menu). I'm guessing it's just an oversight? But, if not, then I'm glad my group opted for the Major Domo and defaulted us to lunch!

Breakfast is absolutely delicious, too. I am looking forward to trying lunch or dinner next time. My son, who is 13, loved CRT. The food was great and all of the princesses interacted with him. Too bad he wouldn't take a pic! LOL We had so much fun!

We have done all 3 meals there, my favorite is breakfast but lunch is a close runner up. If you are on the DP then Dinner is a better value. The sword you get is fairly light and they will give you a shopping bag you can put it in (which is nice because you also have you photos as well). I always have a backpack for the autograph books, sunscreen etc and the sword sticks out of the bag a little but its not bad.

We have done all three meals at CRT. I personally like breakfast the best, but I enjoy the food at dinner. The last time we did dinner the princesses were not all at dinner like they are now. We have early dinner ressies for our next trip and after we are done we are heading back to the hotel for a relaxing evening. I always feel like I have been bathed in pixie dust after eating at CRT, so instead of battling crowds in the parks after our meal this year I plan on relaxing and preserving that feeling as long as I can.
I am not a huge fan of the lunch offerings, so I have only done lunch once.

the children's offerings are the same for dinner and lunch. Some places show only lunch and others only dinner, but they're about the same/

As for the original question, we have only done lunch. That's primarily because we haven't been since the dinner character change. I think we'll look at dinner as an option for the next trip given the change. It will be a tough sell since we enjoy the lunch and are familiar with it.
