Just booked CRT for 11/29 for Dinner before we go to MVMCP. Any recommendations on what to order? Can anyone give me reviews of CRT Dinner? What are the chances of getting a window seat with a 5:50 adr? Thanks in advance for any info.

Sorry, I have not dined there, but maybe someone else can offer advice?

You can specifically ask for a window seat, but they let you know the wait may be longer. We had a great dinner there...specifically I loved the lamb and my DH and DS had the prime rib and it was terrific. Have fun and say Hi to Cindy for me.

I went last week and had a late ADR 7:50pm and was seated by 8:15pm but we checked in around 7:40pm. There were many more larger parties waiting after us and didn't look so happy. Anyway - service was quick and you can tell they try to get you in and out but don't let that stop you from enjoying the evening. DH had the California Seafood Roll and I had the Shrimp Cocktail. Both were very very good. DH had the ahi tuna and I had the prime rib for dinner. Both were just okay but I am very picky about my prime rib. It was overdone for me and I ordered medium rare. DH had the chocolate cake w/ rasberry sauce and it was good. I have the kids desert with my dd!!

We had a 6:10 ADR for dinner on 10/01. We arrived at 6 and were seated at about 6:30. Since it was our 25th anniversary (and noted on ADR), I was hoping for a window table. Instead, we had a table along the wall closest to the elevator. Not a problem at all. It was decorated with streamers and pixie dust, and our server went out of her way to make our celebration special.

We were on the dining plan (free at that time). Dh and I both ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and thought they were very good. We both also ordered the filets. The steaks were excellent; the vegetable accompaniment was cold. We loved the pretzel rolls, although neither of us cared for the mustard butter. Our server was happy to provide plain butter for dh.

For dessert, dh chose the chocolate cake and ice cream (server even brought a tiny sample of the icing out for dh - the icing snob - so he could "try" it ahead of ordering!). I ordered the Key Lime Creme Brulee. I love key lime anything, but this lacked any flavor other than sweet. NOT a good choice, in my opinion.

Our server presented us with a certificate and 2 champagne flutes as an anniversary gift as we finished. All in all, we had a very special time at CRT. We didn't feel rushed; the service wasn't too slow, either. The food was good, although not spectacular. Cinderella did make an appearance in the lobby. And....we missed the sudden downpour of the evening since we were dining in the castle!!!

We'll be having dinner at the castle again, 2 weeks from tomorrow! Both of our previous dinners have been wonderful. I always order the filet mignon and it's been very, very good. In fact, one of them was the best piece of filet I'd ever had. The other one was still very, very good, too.

We've always had excellent service. The server called us "my lady", "my lord", and "the handsome princes". Not sure how much DSs (ages 17 and 14) enjoyed being called handsome princes but they like the ambiance of the castle, and the food :earboy2:

We've never asked for a window seat, so I'm not sure what the odds are. Like others have said, request it when you check in, it can't hurt to ask, and if they have a window table available I'm sure they'd be happy to seat you there.

Enjoy! :flower:

We had dinner there last week. We were seated very quickly in the center of the dining floor. My DS had the tuna and liked it (it was his first time trying tuna). The portion was large. I had the pork tenderloin. I thought it was just ok. What surprised me is that it was warm, not ho. The waiter allowed me to substitute the pasta side for root mashed potatoes which I enjoyed. However, I would pick the fillet next time, as that looked great. The pork tenderloin just wasnt memorable. My DH had the prime rib. He liked it, it wasn't the best he ever had, but he didn't regret picking it. DD had the child's portion prime rib which she liked. We all loved the prezel rolls and mustard butter. I had the soup which was fantastic. We had the chocolate cake for dessert - wonderful! We would definitely go back.

We ate there about 2 weeks ago. We all had Caesar Salad and loved it! We shared the seafood spring roll, which was good. I had the prime rib, medium, and it was just okay. DH loved the ahi tuna, especially the mashed white beans. Dsis had the filet of beef, which was excellent. We were there for the kids birthday, and I had ordered a cake, so we skipped the dessert.

We ate there 3 years ago and the Cesear salad was excellent!! One of the best ones I've ever had. I know I had steak (I think the filet) and I think DH had some type of chicken. The steak was good, cooked exactly how I asked for it. Can't remember how DH felt about his chicken. You can't beat the atmosphere either!!

I'm glad to hear good things about CRT for dinner. That is where I chose to have my birthday dinner before we go to MVMCP on Dec 18th!

I am so excited about eating at the castle. :wizard:

I feel like a lil kid!
