Have ADRs for CRT for dinner. We ate lunch there last summer and it was OK.
I really like the waffle fries and the cheese dip. What are the appetizers like at dinner? What did you get ate dinner? What about dessert? I have seen those smoothies in the mugs??? What flavors? What does the souvenir glass look like? It will just be the 2 of us, our honeymoon. Thanks.

We celebrated my sister's b-day there in May, and we had a GREAT meal.
We had eaten there before, probably a year prior. We did not recall it being bad, nor good.
For our May meal, the food was VERY good, and my sister loved eating in the castle.

The CRT glass mugs are very nice mugs too. You will like them.
I just bought the mugs around three years ago. I did not get the beverages.

We love CRT dinner, we've gone to WDW three times, and had dinner at CRT three times. I posted a review from our trip earlier this month, the post was done yesterday, so it should be either on the first or second page of this board, it was titled "Our (late) dining reviews, 8/28-9/3" and CRT should be under part 2 if I remember right.

HTH!

In March, we had dinner there (DH, me, 2 toddlers) and we loved it. I would definitely eat there again.

I had the caesar salad and the prime rib and both were good. I didn't like my dessert (cappucino creme brulee), but it's not on the menu anymore. I think DH had soup and prime rib as well.

Our service was very good and we liked the ambience of the restaurant.

Is the drink in a mug or slipper glass? Anyone know the price?

Yes, we LOVE dinner there! So much so that we're going to try and get an ADR for our group of 10 people for Christmas dinner!! Yummmm!

I just checked, and the mug I got last year says "Cinderella's Royal Table" in a banner (etched into the glass) with a little picture of a pumpkin. Very cute!

Edited to add: The chef was wonderful, also. We were with my MIL who is diabetic and had a recently diagnosed tree nut allergy. He came out of the kitchen, pulled up a chair and sat with her for a good 10 minutes to go over the menu with her. All of the chefs in the restaurants will do this, but I just wanted to mention that here!

We ate at CRT for lunch last week and I did not care for it at all. I loved eating in the castle and the charaters were lovely but we won't be return lords and ladies. Our apps were brought out the same time as our meal - which in total was about 5 mins after being seated - I felt very rushed and the food was cold. :crazy2: I purchased the glass mug which says Cinderella's Royal Table on it. The cost was $8.99 and that included the strawberry banana smoothie. The great part was they give you a clean, packaged mug on your way out so you don't have to worry about washing it or breaking it. I took it to the engraver on Main Street and had the year engraved on it for $2. It made a nice souvenir. princess:

We ate there in June. For an appetizer we both had the spring roll (I think that's what it was). It was YUMMY! I order the tenderloin and it was pretty good. We are going back there in Nov. :cheer2:

I ate there in June with my ds and I didn't care for it at all. I had the prime rib and the slipper for dessert and they were both ok but not great. It costs too much for just ok.

We loved our Castle dinner (free dining of course) it was our favorite meal of the entire week.

DH had the prime rib enjoyed it but said my filet was even better I thought so too.

yes, we love doing dinner at crt its so romantic, salad or domo pie (chicken pot pie) the collectible glass is nice but the smoothie is mediocre. definetly go its worth the ambiance alone, plus cinderella is sometimes in the lobby great photo op & mention its your honeymoon when making you adr & being seated you never know about pixie dust.

OT... I'm sure it's a typo, but I'm rolling!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Actually, that's not a typo - that's sort of become the unofficial official nickname of the food pictures thread, I guess because of all the staring and salivating that goes on over there. :rotfl2:
