Our DD6 will love the princess but not so sure about DS9. It really doesn't matter to us parents but thought there might be some male characters at one time or another. Anyone else gone through this????

Yep , I have a princess crazed 5 yo daughter and a less than thrilled to eat with the princesses 10 yo son.

We eat at CRT every trip. We usually do breakfast. This past trip (3 weeks ago) we tried lunch. Basically the same with the characters and Cinderella, just breakfast food vs lunch food.

We really liked lunch. DS just goes with the flow. We each pick a restaurant for every trip, DD's is always CRT, DS's is Chef Mickeys.

DD gets her pic taken with Cinderella herself as well as the other princesses who come by. DS will say hello , but pictures are taboo. He was pretty happy with his sword and participated in the wishing ceremony.

Your son will be OK. Try it out.

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured that was the case with the princesses. That's a good idea to let the kids have a hand in picking the restaurants as well. We usually pick the TS and let them pick the QS.

I've done both breakfast and lunch, and I prefer lunch. It is really good.

Also, there are only princesses at CRT. Cinderella in the lobby, and her friends upstairs (it can vary. But the last time I ate at CRT I had Belle, Snow White, Aurora, and Mary Poppins).
