Thanks for the news of your success! Thefirst full day of our trip is June 1st. I'm working on planning my 180 day strategy
Ok...
I put this together a while back and thought that it might help. Forgive me for the length but you'll be happy you read it. Good luck!!
The Really Unofficial How-To Cheat Sheet for Securing an Advance Reservation at Cinderellas Royal Table
Ok, now for those of us who have either read about it or have actually attempted to go through the motions of achieving the pinnacle of character meal dining in WDW, we can safely say that getting into Princeton is easier. In fact, its been suggested that a DNA match to either of Walt Disney or Mickey might be the key.
Having done a little research on the subject, I have decided to put together my findings so that someone with just enough patience and persistence can endeavor to make this happen.
count backward exactly 180 days from (but not including) the day you wish to dine. Cinderella's Royal Table accepts advanced dining reservations up to 180 days ahead.
start calling WDW reservations at 6:55 am Eastern Time and continue to hit redial until someone answers the phone. CRO opens at 7:00am and all reservations are usually gone by 7:10am. Once someone answers, ask immediately for the first available table for Cinderellas breakfast.
What is a Lead Name? The lead name is the name on the credit card used to make the deposit on the CRT PS. And, the name on the credit card's billing address. The lead name is the only person who can cancel or make changes to the PS. No name changes will be permitted after the booking is completed. The last names on the booking and the credit card MUST match allowing for a wife to use her husband's credit card and visa versa. A valid ID will be requested at the podium.

You MUST call exactly 180 days before the date you want to dine at the Castle for breakfast. And, you MUST start calling a couple of minutes before WDW Dining opens (7 AM, on all days including weekends and holidays. All times are US EASTERN).
There are two possible greetings:
a) Thank you for calling the Disney Reservation Center. Our office is closed... (hang up immediately as soon as you hear the words "Our office" and hit redial immediately).
OR
b) Thank you for calling the Disney reservation center (pause). You're in and on hold! Wait! Do NOT hang up or you will lose any chance of a ressie!
Upon speaking to a "live person", interrupt the lucky CM and blurt out "I need Cindy's, for June xx, for x people, any available time". The CRO rep will understand your temporary rudeness, and you'll make up for it later with endless amounts of gratitude... Don't try and pick a specific time. Any delays will seriously hinder your ability to get a reservation.
Use the 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) number to directly call WDW Dining so you don't get caught in a transfer cue from CRO. This can amount to up to a 12 second delay in getting to Dining.
Often, all avaiable seatings will be booked up by 7:05am, maybe sooner!
If you get through on your first try (lucky you!), tell the reservations clerk you want Cinderella's Table for whatever date you've picked. Don't even think about requesting a specific time -- take whatever you can get (most reservations will be gone by 7:15am).
