CRT for 12!!!

We are doing A Fairytale Lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table in May. Does anyone know if they actually have a table that will hold 12 or do they push tables together or split you up? I remember seeing a very large table for Groups at Boma. I was just wondering if CRT had a similar table.

We had a group of 12 for breakfast at CRT two years ago. They had us at two tables of six which were parallel to each other. I asked at the podium if they would be able to seat us together and the hostess said that wouldn't be possible.

When I looked around the restaurant, I didn't see a table that would hold a group that size. However, we were close enough to be able to talk in a normal tone and be heard from table to table.

The hostess downstairs will ask you if you want to sit together or sit first available. They will tell you that it can take up to 45 minutes if you sit together. DONT get mad at the hostess. It is a question they have to ask you and it is not their fault if you have to wait. It usually never takes that long. The largest table fits six so if you want to sit together then they will put you on two tables right next to each other. ONLY show up 10 minutes before your check in time to check in. They cant check you in any earlier than that.

Thanks. That is great information! I had no idea about the no more than 10 minutes before check in rule. Do you know how long it takes to have the pictures taken? I figure with 12 people it will take awhile.

We have reservations for 13 on 8/6 at 8:15 a.m. If I remember correctly we had to pick the earliest time in order to be seated together (not necessarily at the same table). We have one member of our party that does not like to get up early. She's not happy about this time or our 7:15 Chef Mickey's.

Well the pictures are based on how many people you have in your party as well. With ta party of twelve you will get 3 FREE picture packages. If you want more you can order them but they ae quite expensive. So you can pose however you would like and take your own pictures as well. But they bring your professional photos to your table while you eat dinner. It doesnt really take long at all actually. It would probably take your party ten or so minutes. I worked at the restaurant so please if you have any questions let me know. I'll be glad to help with anything. About any other Disney questions as well.

Maybe you can help with this. All 12 of us are on the dining plan but DH and I were thinking of paying out of pocket for CRT so we can use our credits for another TS night out. Does this cause a lot of problems for the server?

Not at all. Just when you check in at the downstairs podium let them know that you would like to save your dining plan for something else and they will put a note on your seating card. Not a problem at all. I will probably be checking you in downstairs anyway. HA!

Since we are 13 in our group, can we break up the 13 into our 3 family groups so we each get the photo included of our family or does the whole group of 13 have to be in the photos?
