CRT first or last? Also Hollywood & Vine question

4 year old and 2 year old "princesses" on their first trip. Would CRT dinner be better to the very first night or very last night? I realize it may be easier to get an ADR for later in my trip...

Also Hollywood and Vine: breakfast vs. lunch. Does one really stand out over the other? I feel like I'm getting heavy on breakfasts, but if it's way better than lunch, I'll deal with it.

I think its fun to end the trip with CRT...specially since this is your first trip...that way you get a chance to explore the whole park first and then end the trip on an awesome note! We have only ever eaten at H&V for breakfast but really enjoyed it. I can't say much for their lunch, but its your basic breakfast food, so not too hard to screw up, LOL...plus if you get an early ADR you get early access to the park and you don't waste much park time. We always eat there at an 8AM ADR and are usually done by 9

The only reason I'm considering lunch is that our likely HS day is probably an AM EMH day, so it doesn't do us any good for an early breakfast (though that is what I'm typically trying for with my other breakfast ADRs!). But I could potentially switch our HS and AK days if breakfast is way better (and then take advantage of a PPO ADR).

I've got Crystal Palace down for a PPO breakfast! Also doing: Akershus (breakfast), Garden Grill (breakfast), Tusker House (probably breakfast, but maybe lunch), Teppan Edo (dinner), Ohana (dinner), Hollywood & Vine (breakfast or lunch). Chef Mickey's is currently on the list but I'm wavering on that one although I don't know what I'd replace it with.

Chef Mickey's is fun but the food is always a 50/50 shot of being tolerable/to not so tolerable, lol...we usually do their breakfast bc we have had a couple of not so tolerable dinners there...on our first night we usually like to do either Disney Springs, the Disney Boardwalk, or eat at the hotel we are staying at. Although we usually don't get into Disney until mid afternoon so thats why we like to take it easy on arrival day. If you are getting to Disney in the AM and have a park planned that day then I would just eat in the park. Its easier that way then you don't have to rush out of the park for dinner.
