CRT during fireworks

We have a 710 reservation, fireworks at 8. We have two other in parks days to see HEA plus one night at ohana during firework time. Does anyone know if you can see any of the fireworks during the meal? I found some wishes videos and it looked neat from inside. I'm not trying to watch the show just create a magical experience for 7 year who still believes princesses and magic are real.

We have been in the restaurant when HEA was going on. it's as if the place is under siege. I don't mean that in a bad way - it's just all very close to the castle. Things look to be exploding right outside of the windows. Quite a few kids were screaming during it - which I am not ashamed to admit - made it more fun for us.

Can you see the fireworks or some of them? Do you think this would be a neat memory for 7 yr old? Is the music piped in? Would you do this again if cost were not a factor?

I would do it again. I like seeing the fireworks from different spots. We stay at The Contemporary - so we watch them from our balcony most nights. This was definitely different. And kind of exciting.

Not every seat will have that ^ view. Some will have hardly any view at all.

I would be fine with the backdrop but it certainly isn't a good view of HEA.

Here is a visual of some seats farther back and if you are on one of the "upper" levels will be even more removed.

I literally cannot imagine what CRT would be like during HEA. We had lunch there over the summer and at one point they shot a couple of rounds off for whatever castle stage show was going on. That was loud enough. 18 minutes of that?:eek::eek:

Yes, this experience will either be truly amazing or the worst idea I have ever had. I the music played during the fireworks? So far 710 is the only seating I could get . Probably another mother decided not to have dinner in a war zone. If the music is played I'm going to go for it. I'll probably end up in a stairwell with my 2 year old while my husband enjoys the show with my 7 yr old. I always get the short end of the stick. Here's to hoping we don't damage the 2 yr old for life.

We had dinner there next to a window last summer. The fireworks are mostly above you and can only see a few of the fireworks. Not really a memory maker in terms of fireworks, but still a fun dinner. If I was trying to do dinner with fireworks this wouldn't be my go to place.

1) Through the glass, yes.
2) A good view ?
3) Absolutely not!
4) You are there to eat, not view fireworks.
5) Sorry, but if they wanted you to see the lights, they would have made different windows.

Keep in mind that the best views of the fireworks are the tables at the window which even then are limited. Only some of the fireworks are launched from behind the castle and that’s what you see. I watched Wishes from CRT in January and they played the music and dimmed the lights in the dining room. It was an enjoyable experience given that I’d seen Wishes outside the castle too many times to count and we were able to enjoy champagne bottle service while we watched/listened.
