Does anyone have positive experiences with this? I'm concerned now that we should have tried for breakfast or lunch instead, but we leave in 12 days now. So is CRT dinner a mistake? Should I try to call for breakfast and hope for a cancellation?

Thanks!
Angie

depends on what you're expecting. you already know what you're paying.

i had a very pleasant experience. i don't think it was worth $40 per person for a meal, but so it goes.

We had dinner at CRT in March and I was very pleased. I thought the service was wonderful as was the food. Also we watched the fireworks from inside, and they were beautiful!

Dinner at CRT was the highlight of my trip last month! We were on the DDP, so cost was not an issue. First you do the photos with Cinderella, which turned out beautifully. Our service was great. The food was good (cheese tortelini and lamb) and my server let mr order from the kids menu for appetizers and desert because there wasn't anything I liked. Our table was the center table right next to the windows looking over fantasyland. The food runner brought our meals out very quickly after the appetizers so our server gave us champagne glasses to make up for it. The show was fun (even though we did not have kids). The mice were great coming around to the tables. The fairy godmother was entertaining. It was a magical experience. I would definitely do it again!

added - our meal overall was not rushed. Even though we had finished eating before the show began, our server waited until after after the show to bring the bill so we could relax and enjoy it. Also, I have seen complaints that they take your order (including desert) as soon as you sit down. our server told us to take our time and said we could order the dessert than or wait until after we had eaten.

Great! I think we'll go with it then. Our reservations are for 8:10 pm. Will we get to see the fireworks? I should stop second guessing my plans, huh?!

Thanks!
Angie

depends on what time the fireworks are. i had a 9:20, fireworks were at 10, i probably left around 11.

We are back from our first trip two weeks ago, and honestly CRT dinner was my favorite meal of all. CRT was more of a special meal for the whole family, not just for the kids. We got to sit right by the window, the view is beautiful and everyone was so nice and the mood was very festive. There was even a proposal while we were there and the whole place clapped for the couple. The FGM and the mice were neat. It was our last meal and it was a wonderful ending to the trip. It was also not as rushed as some of the character meals seem.

That said, we also did the storybook dinner at Epcot another night so my DD got all princesses there. If you want a typical character meal to meet princesses that is a better choice.
