I know that dinner at CRT is not a character meal, but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen Cindy at dinner? I mean, it IS her palace, and all.. princess: Thanks!

We have seen her in the lobby a lot. She is usually in her thrown taking pictures & signing autographs.

Thanks LCLARK0621!
I was just curious, because we have ADR's and will have the kids in-tow.

She is often in the lobby, we saw her there when we ate there in oct. too.

Here is the scoop on the new plan:
For Dining Beginning 2/1/06
Cinderella Royal Table Character Product and Pricing Changes

Effective February 1, 2006, Cinderella’s Royal Table will implement changes to all their dining offerings.

Breakfast and Lunch will continue to offer a Princess dining experience with a few changes:
Upon arrival, guests will experience a photo opportunity in the castle lobby. They will then proceed to the dining room where Disney princesses mingle among the tables to greet guests.
Guest will enjoy breakfast or lunch from a set menu.
A beautiful Imaging package of their photo (retail value of $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to guests at their table. The imaging package includes 4 - 4x6 prints, 1 - 6x8 print, 1 - 6x8 print of Cinderella's castle all in a beautiful Cinderella themed photo holder.

Dinner will also become a fixed price meal that includes special features.
Upon arrival, guests will experience a photo opportunity in the castle lobby. They will then proceed to the dining room where Fairy Godmother will mingle among the dining room, leading “celebrations” of various special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries.

All reservations for arrivals prior to February 1, 2006 will follow the deposit payment policy and current pricing and product information.

I read somewhere that if you are on the dining plan you do not get the photo package, you have to pay extra for it.

IS THIS TRUE??

You mean before 2/1/06? If so, yes it is true.

If after, no it is not true, but you are still paying for it since the meal will now be two TS credits.

I was told from from a Dining CM that the pictures are only included with breakfast and lunch. At dinner, they will bring them to your table and are available for an additional cost. The lithograpgh however is included for "free" with dinner.

Also does anyone know what dinners fixed appetizers and dessert will be???
I hope much better than the ones served at lunch.

When I made my ADR for dinner (in march 06), I was told the photos are included in the price, as well as the lithograph.

We had breakfast on 12/4 and lunch on 12/9 at CRT. Cinderella no longer comes to the table, she is downstairs. You wait in line to see her and there is a professional photographer taking pictures. At some point in your meal, someone comes to you with your photo package for purchase. DH bought the first one, I did not buy the second one. I was not happy with the way CM's are handling this. The photo package was not handed to an adult, but to my DGD who is 4. When I did not buy the second package, I felt pressured to do so by the CM. They even made a comment about me not wanting them. We also went to the princess lunch in Norway and Aerial does not come to the tables either. It is the same here as with Cinderella. This time the photo package was given to my 2 1/2 yr old DGD. That is not right. Folks spend enough money at these places and do not need the added pressure to buy photos. If we want them, like we did with the first, that is fine, but no one should feel pressure to buy them. I am totally against handing the photos to the children. We were not on any meal plan.

You must had bad luck or something. During all of our character meals with photo packages, the final photo folder was either handed to me or my wife. The kids were even sitting by the aisle (for easy character access) :) So they had to hand the folder over their heads to us "adults".

I wouldn't trust any kids handling $30 photo :)

Thanks for your input. It is nice to know that this is not the common practice. We definitely were not happy that this happened to us three times.

Oh I see well it is not worth 2 table service to me. I can take all the pics of her I want in other locations.

We will just go to 1900 Park Fare again, I know it is not the same as the Castle but at least we will get more character interaction for less credits!!
