crt breakfast vs lunch

Ok. Still having trouble deciding. I have 2 reservations. An 8:10 am and a 1:10 pm at CRT.one has to go. The breakfast is before park opens at 9am (which I love). Here's the catch. I am going with my 2 daughters age 5 &8. My friend (first timer) will be in disney with us and her 2 daughters, same ages. They will not be going to CRT. Do I have them meet us after breakfast and take advantage of early park entry, leaving them on their own first thing in the am, or, keep the lunch and help them in the the morning splitting for lunch. The food matters somewhat but I'm more about the entire experience. Help!

We had an 8:05 reservation at CRT and loved being able to get into the park prior to RD and seeing Main St and the castle with so few people. We got some great pics. After breakfast we walked straight on Peter Pan. I say do the breakfast and meet up with your friends later

Ask your friend.
she has no opinion. Just keeps telling me they will do whatever. They are doing chef Mickey's dinner that night which we are not, and I'm happy for some separate time. I just feel bad leaving them to fend in the am although I think in would rather do breakfast.

If you are favoring breakfast due to getting in before park opening...make sure to double check now and later for changes to magic hours...I booked a 8:20 there on a 9:00 opening day...then they added magic hours and now it opens at 8 :( it will still be awesome but still a let down...I think we will still be let in before rope drop but cuts the pre park opening time dramatically. ..

If your friend says, "Whatever," and you have a preference - go with…..

1.) Your preference
2.) Your gut.

If they differ, flip a coin.

What dates are your reservations? When you are ready to cancel please post it in the November cancellation thread so a fellow DIS'er can hopefully snag it!
