I think one of the other problems that could easily arise if people were allowed to do, in mass, what I did for this one lady when I gave her my PS number and she was able to swap the reservation information on that ressie with her own information... I think what could wind up happening is people scalping CRT reservations. I am sure I coud have sold that reservation for far more then the cost of a CRT breakfast. Frankly, if someone offered me a resiie for me and my DD I would pay through the nose for it. So, that would be a big problem...and then that would further create a logistical problem for WDW DINE group. Say I called in and got ressies for 10, and then sold them in 2, 3 or 4 person lots... the reservation system would frequently be in flux. It would far more difficult to anticipate how to arrange the floor plan, how many tops they would actually have on the day of the event, who the parties actually were...the logistics could be done... it would just be more of a hassle for disney and probably more costly. I think Disney by implementing the policy is just trying to even the plaing field for everyone. No special treatment, For example, I could afford to spend 100 dollars or more a head for that breakfast. If the CRT could be swapped...you could very easily wind up with a situation where only people with a swat of money would be able to attend the CRT. But as it is....if a person can afford Disney, they can probably aford the less then 20 bucks per person breakfast. It is actually an incredibly inexpensive activity. I think my daughter was like 10 dollars for her? Where on earth can I get my 7 year old that much entertainment value and fantasy value for 10 dollars? absolutely no-where on earth. So by having the no swapping policy Disney gaurantees that everyone is the same... the rich or the poor and everyone in between have an equal chance of getting the CRT. No preferences
