I plan on booking at CRT for our next trip. I've heard good and bad reviews but I've decided to go ahead and book it cause I want to eat in the Castle!

Now, I need to decide if we go for breakfast or dinner. We've booked the free dining bounceback but we're not sure if we'll use 2 TS or pay oop.

My thoughts for breakfast are this:
-nice to get into the park before open
-the breakfast meal seems to get better reviews
-less expensive

Dinner
-get the right seating and we might be able to see the fireworks (true??)
-Fairy Godmother and mice
-more value on the ddp

any other reasons for or against either would be really appreciated!!

thanks

I did both . Both are great. But if you have to choose one . Then no ? dinner.

I've done both. HATED dinner, as did the other four in my party. I've heard mixed things about dinner. Some love it, some hate it, however, the breakfast is standard, good, and the setting is AWESOME. Breakfast is my vote.

Never have done dinner, we've been doing breakfast for so many years (before any characters anytime but breakfast) and love it so much, so we never went any other time. But the breakfast is really good, the princesses come to the tables, and it is great to get a photo of empty (or nearly empty) Main Street.

Let's not only thank Hannah Montana, because it seems that if you can find an open ADR for CRT in the afternoon, you can have the best of both worlds.

We recently faced the same decision that you are making, and then we read more about the CRT Lunch. The Disney princesses also do meet and greets at lunch, plus the menu (check allears.net) has several of the entrees that are offered at dinner. We feel we are making good use of the DP, and we are meeting princesses in the one and only Cinderella castle that was so familiar to me as a child; if only it wasn't so difficult to get this reservation!!

FYI: I have dinner booked for my October trip with my DBF. After many calls, I was able to book lunch for my parents' 30th Wedding Anniversary in November. (The second one is a surprise, shh! My family has never eaten at the castle before.) :cloud9:
