CRT booked, do they ever get cancellations?

CRT is booked for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while we are there. Since you typically have to pay in advance when making the reservations, is there ANY chance that it may open up? I wasn't sure if this was a long shot or not? Should I just keep trying online and keeping my fingers crossed?

Keep trying for sure! I cancelled a lunch a couple weeks after I booked it because I changed plans and found a breakfast (8:05 even)!

I don't know if the breakfast had been cancelled or just not booked originally, but I definitely cancelled the lunch a couple weeks after I booked it.

Keep trying. Many ADRs open up when people cancel when they have a package and all the money is due. Also when we were there from Christmas to New Years(the busiest time of year) by late evening, they were usually telling people to come on in and that there was immediate seating. I know eating that late is not ideal, but at least the experience will not be completely out of reach if you are determined to have the CRT experience. Good luck!

I think the fact that you have to pay in advance actually works in your favor of finding a spot where someone cancels. Many times people who have ADR's at other restaurants don't bother cancelling if their plans change because there is no penalty for not showing up. Since you will be charged for not showing up at CRT, I think people are more likely to cancel and get the refund of their payment.

Definitely keep checking. We were able to slide our time around a couple of times as our trip approached until we had the perfect time for our plans.

Absolutely keep trying. I've been trying daily for weeks to get a CRT dinner for our trip in July and just yesterday one finally opened up. Check online a few times a day if you can and call once a day as well (if you have the time). It never hurts to keep trying and takes just a few minutes.

Plus it'll be a great feeling when you finally see a time pop up after seeing "Sorry!" for so long.

KEEP TRYING!

I cancelled just at the 2 day window while we were there, so keep trying even after arrival.

We were able to get a reservation on the drive into WDW one year. DW called about 30 minutes before we arrived, and found an opening for the following day.
