I will be taking my three-year-old princess to WDW in September and would like to have her dine with Cinderella, her fave princess. I'm trying to figure out what to book when I call with my ADRs. Would it be better to do the breakfast then the park or to do the park for a couple of hours, then lunch for a break, then more park? Also, I thought I read somewhere something about breakfast being better (better pics and such) if you do it early on a day when there is no early Magic Hours. Is that right or the other way around? Ahhhh, so many options and too much time to plan/think about it.

we did CRT last week and did a late BF at 10:30, it was not very busy and the tables were getting empty and waiting for lunch to begin. I think i would consider the lunch as an option. Get to the parks early and do as much as you can while light crowds, then when it get busy in afternoon and hot, you can take a break for lunch.

We ate there for Breakfast in December and the food was delicious! I would do BF again in a heartbeat!

Good luck!

We extremely enjoyed our lunch at CRT in November! It was just the break we needed after being in the park for 4 hours. It could be a great way to split up a crazy day at MK!

partially because I prefer lunch in general and partially because it fits into our vacation plans better. We usually tour the parks in the morning and head back to the room for a break in the afternoon. We didn't leave the parks in the evening this past trip until usually 11:00 PM. This is tried and true advice for most and especially those with young ones.

Cinderella is not in the dining room. You see her in in the downstairs area prior to going to the dining room. She talks with all her guests and there are pictures taken. You will be given copies of one of these pictures during your meal. There are usually four characters in the dining room. Usually a mixture of princesses and others. We have seen Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, the Fairy Godmother, Alice and Mary Poppins there.

At the dinner at 1900 park Fare Cinderella is at the meal and the other characters are all based on the Cinderella story. We have not eaten there so I can't say how the meal goes.

We love the breakfast! The cream cheese stuffed french toast is so good!

We've done both, but we like lunch food better than breakfast food so that's what we're doing again this May.

We decided on Lunch... :) and cant wait... my daughter is having a BBB make-over at 8:00 in the MK location so it should be a prefectly princess day!!!! :) this will be our 2ns MK day on our 9 day trip... I have heard great things about the lunch... and heard that breakfast is just that breakfast...

There's 2 types of people.

Ones that live for breakfast food and can tell every little difference in a Mickey Waffle.

And ones that just thinks it's another ball pooped out of a chicken. I must consume it in order to get to the meals of the day that ARE good.

I think you made a good choice waiting for lunch. Just being in the castle makes the food taste a little better. Make sure you look up in the reception area for the mice.

I've done both twice. I love breakfast food but we are trying to get the lunch again this year. The food was so good and the midday break from the Florida heat was really welcome. I would go with whatever fits in your schedule or which menu appeals to you more. Enjoy!

Huh? I don't live for breakfast by any means. In fact, when I'm not in Disney, I never eat breakfast at home. BUT, sometimes it's nice to start your day off with a filling breakfast.....that way you don't have to stop for lunch too early!

Can you tell me what the BBB make-over in the MK is all about? Is it inside the MK park? Do you need reservations? How much does it cost? Thanks so much.

You can find information on the BBB here. Basically, girls get made over into princesses. :) There are different packages, so the price depends on which one you choose. I don't know if reservations are necessarily mandatory, but I would definitely make one if you want to be guaranteed a spot. There's a location inside the MK and there's one at DTD. If you want to see some pictures and read some experiences, there's a huge thread about it in the Theme Park forum.
