CRT at night

Has anyone been to the castle in the evening since they added the princesses? We have been to breakfast a couple of times and were going to try for it again until I saw that they now do supper. They still do it, right?

I would love to hear from those that have done it.

We have ADRs for CRT dinner on our MNSSHP night and we are very excited about it....well, the girls have no idea we are eating here (one of many surprises for our trip), but my DH and I are excited. We have eaten breakfast there a few times and thought we would give dinner a try this time. I have also read from many posters on here that the dinner is much better than the breakfast, but we shall see when September comes

See, I have read the opposite - that CRT breakfast is better than the dinner, and the dinner is not worth the money... Hmmmm.... (sorry op, doesn't help you at all lol!)

I would love to hear from some that have done dinner, and especially someone that has done both.

Just to confirm, they still have Cinderella downstairs and some princesses upstairs for supper, right? They haven't gone back to like it was before?

We just had dinner there July 1st. Yes, you meet Cinderella when you come into the castle and have your free photo taken and then the rest of the princesses visit your table.

The food was okay, not great for the price you pay. However, we were on the deluxe dining plan and the tip was included, which helped. The princess interaction was very good (daughter 24 months, son 4).

Having said that, my husband likes the food at Akershus better so we decided that we probably won't dont' the castle again, at least not for now. The princess interaction at Akershus is also very good and the food is slightly better. Since this is only 1 credit versus 2, it makes more sense for us.

Thanks for the information. So far we have stayed with the castle because- 1) it's the castle, that's worth mediocre food to us, and 2) my wife and girls are very picky eaters, so we play it safe.

I did consider 1900 Park Fare for supper in case they pulled the princesses out of the evening, but for now I think we will go with CRT.

We did CRT for dinner in June and I didn't think the food was bad. I had pasta, which was a change from the many meat dishes we had been having at all the counter services. The salad as a starter was great too. I had been fearing the worst with the food and was pleasantly surprised. The princesses were great and they do a lot of special stuff I hadn't even heard of before ( I won't say so you can be surprised too!).

I agree! My family of 5 adults had dinner at the castle less than 2 weeks ago and we all loved it. The food was fine! The princesses were great! When they stopped by our table, I let them know that we DID want to take pictures with them (sometimes adults-only don't), and they were more than happy to pose with us.

The only disappointment was that it was our 10th anniversary that day and even though it was noted on the slip of paper that our waiter had, he did nothing to acknowledge it. We had our pins on, too. Not even a "Happy Anniversary". The waiter was fine in every other aspect though! He was actually a very good waiter! It really wasn't until we left that I realized that our anniversary had been overlooked at dinner. LOL Not a big deal because I feel that if you definitely want something, you need to book it and pay for it, in order for it to be guaranteed. However, I did see our waiter bring a cupcake with a candle in it over to another table....so just not sure why we didn't get anything. Again, not a big deal...but it was our actual anniversary day. I really should've mentioned it myself to the waiter when we first were brought to our table, but I saw that the slip of paper was noted, so I didn't.

Anyway, I do recommend dinner at the castle!
