Do you think it is overkill to do both CRT and PSB? Originally book PSB for breakfast and 1900 PF for dinner. This way girls are guarenteed to see all the princess (for the most part).

However DD5 keeps asking to eat at the castle. We did it 2 years ago for lunch and we were not impressed. $130 for 2 sandwhichs and chix nuggets, plus didn't think the character interaction was as good as Norway.

However, being the Dad, I feel bad now that my little girl wants to eat at the Castle. At some point she is going to grow up and not care about eating with the princesses anymore.

What do you think? Was thinking of adding CRT and cancelling Park Fare. Figured 3 princess meals was a lot, considering we are also doing CP and CM.

What are your thoughts. DW just thinks I am being "soft" and falling for the "daddy's little girl" act again. :rotfl:

We did all 3 last time (PSB, CRT & 1900 Park Fare w/ Cindy) and my dd8 and I really enjoyed them all. My dh didn't care for the food at 1900 and my dd5 isn't in to the princesses and could take or leave them.
So, basically, if your child is in too princesses and it won't bore you, then I don't think it's too much :)

Did all three last time. Dropping 1900 this time. The food and the logistics were both mediocre there, IMO.

CRT is very expensive, but DD could dine with the princesses every meal and not tire of it, and keeping a 3-year-old entertained is worth a lot of money.

We did CRT and Akershus both for lunch in Sept. We loved both of them. The food at CRT was ok, but the experience was amazing. We are going back in May and plan to do both again, but I think we are going to do breakfast for a difference.

When we take DD in 2011, we are doing dinner @ CRT since she wants to eat in the castle like DS did and we are doing lunch @ PSD to see the characters.

When we went with DS this year, we did CRT breakfast and it was the loudest, most rushed, meal of our trip. And the food was really bad . . . they managed to make the eggs and sausage inedible. The eggs were very runny and when we asked for eggs that were cooked a little better, we were told they were all like that and they couldn't make them any different. And the sausage was burned. DS hates fruit, but he was so hungry he actually at some of the fruit from the fruit goblet. We'll never do the character meal there again.

Every trip we have done both CRT and Storybook - and we're doing it again this next trip. Our motto: you can never have too many princesses. :rotfl:
Food is so so but it's not really about the food... :goodvibes

I don't think it's too much if your kids really want to dine with princesses.

FYI - we liked the character interaction at 1900 best out of the 3 (and we liked the food MUCH better than we expected). 2nd was Akershus, with CRT bringing up the rear. There's no substitute for dining in the castle, but overall, the experience was pretty impersonal.

No, it's not overkill--if you are willing to spend the money. we are doing both PSB & CRT this time. Last time we were on the dining plan & couldn't justify 2 TC for CRT, so we skipped. My dd5 is insistent that we eat at Cindys castle. So, we will do it once. Plus these 2 meals (PSB & CRT) are our big "splurge." We are staying in the FW cabins & will eat in for most meals. I think the price diff for breakfast at PSB & lunch at CRT was approx $30 (for 3 people). Worth it in my book--we may not go back to CRT again.

We have done CRT for breakfast every trip but one and LOVE it, love the food, love the experience, all of it! We added Akerhaus for dinner this last trip and loved it too. I agree, your DD is only little once, if you can swing it, why not? Our girls were 14, 9 and 6 on our last trip and will be 16, 11 and 8 on our next one. Our oldest still enjoys the experiences but would not be broken hearted to stop doing the princess meals, not sure how many more years till the younger ones feel the same way and we opt to go less often. Time goes so fast, enjoy it all while you can.

No way is your overkill, we are doing all three in December. We weren't going to eat at CRT but my DD6 had said that she would love to eat in Cinderella's Castle. She has eaten there before, but she was 2 at the time so she doesn't remember it, so my DH did the same thing as you and said "how can you say no". We are also doing Cape May Breakfast, O'hana breakfast, and Garden Grill :goodvibes
