CRT and new Rope Drop - anybody have experience to share?

Checking to see if anyone has done an early (8-815 am) ADR at CRT and then made Fantasyland Rope Drop to see A&E.

If so, how did it go? Any tips or pointers for the rest of us? How long was your wait?

We have an 8:20am CRT ressie. I'm hoping that we can beat the rush and get near the front of the line for A&E. If not, I did snag a FP+ for them at 11:40, but I'm hoping I can get in early and cancel the FP.

we ate at CP and were done prior to rope drop and sat at the castle watching the wave of people being escorted neatly in.. was good to see.

is it easier to get a fastpass+ for later in your trip or does it matter?
