Well I did it and got us an ADR after calling for about two weeks to CRT for lunch the last day we are on vacation. So we are dealing with celiac along with a dairy and egg allergy. I hope this is doable for my DD and I to eat at so does anyone have any experience???

Did you have the celiac and allergies noted on your ADR? If not, call back and add them. You'll get a phone number for the chef. Give him/her a call a few days before your visit, so any special requests can be accomodated. On the day of your visit, the chef will come to your table and go over the menu with you. Disney does a great job keeping those with dietary restrictions safe and well fed. :goodvibes

Yeah its all noted and I will call but I was hoping that maybe someone else has dealt with this before.

We just got back from our trip a couple days ago. We did CRT on Monday, and it was a great experience! My DS5 is allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts. The chef came out to talk to us about what my son can/cannot eat and what he likes to eat. He ended up getting 2 waffles, sausage and bacon. All were safe for him to eat. I asked if the waffles were Van's, and the chef said they are not the Van's brand, but are basically the same thing. We also had a big bowl of fresh fruit to share.

All of our dining experiences were good...we ate table service at Ohana's (breakfast and dinner), Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef and CRT. I would recommend all of those places. Service at Coral Reef was slow, but the food was good. Best of all, we had no allergic reactions to any of the food.

Amy~ Thanks for the great info!! Funny he said the waffles weren't Van's since I have a list that says they are. We are going for lunch so I am hoping there will be something to share with DD otherwise she will have to wait until we leave CRT to get something.

I bet that if you call ahead of time, they will be sure to have something for your daughter. I was worried that we'd run into problems at some of our meals, but my son ate like a king while we were there. He turned down dessert more than once, and that NEVER happens at home. He just got full from all the other good stuff they fed him! It was pretty cool.
