CRT and changing main guest

Hi all
I booked a girls only breakfast at CRT for myself friend and her daughter. now that we are here my friends DH wants to go. I am fine with this but getting conflicting answers to the following. I booked the ressie and it is under my card. Do I have to be there or is it fine for my friends DH to take my place? One CM told me that I have to show up and give CC at checkin; concierge here at AKL told me no, and called dining reservations who said they never heard of this. Please help! TIA!

We were there for dinner in Dec and my son checked us in even though the ADR was under my name and CC.

We've never been asked for the cc when we've dined at CRT. It's like any other DW reservation. When your friends check in they'll need to give the name of the person that the res is under, but it doesn't matter who is dining.

Since you already pre-paid with your credit card for CRT (unlike other ADRs that are held with a credit card) you will be fine if another adult takes your place. If there are additional charges at the dinner, they can be paid for with another credit card. As long as your friends have your name and ADR confirmation number and the time of the ADR they will be fine. Just make sure your friends are aware that if they don't give the 24 hour cancellation notice, your credit card will still be charged.
