Are the princesses generally the same (except Cinderella is only at CRT)? We have a lunch planned at CRT and a breakfast at Akershus in Epcot. I would really like to do something other than the Akershus breakfast. We went to it last year and my girls loved it but they insist on doing the castle this year. I feel like if the princesses are the same why do both? My husband thinks that there will be "better" princesses and more of them in Epcot.

Does anyone ever do both or are they too similar?

From what I've heard, there are usually 4 or so princesses in Norway for the breakfast. I even saw Mary Poppins listed in someones dining review.
Not sure who appears at CRT as I've never been able to get in. :(

If you want something a lil different, maybe try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. I'm doing that for the first time this year. My coworker recommended it and said Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter all made appearances and the food was quite good. The different characters is what appealed to me.

We were just at Akershus last week and Belle was the princess posing for photos at the door, and then mingling in the tables was Ariel, Jasmine, Alice, and Cinderella (I didn't know she ever appeared here!). So we had 5 this time. In 2006 at Akershus we had Ariel in the photo shoot, then Alice, Jasmine and Mulan among the tables.

I love Akershus, but we have also seen Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Alice, Sleeping Beauty, all out in World Showcase!

We've done 1900 Park Fare for dinner, it's usually Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Fairy God mother and the step-sisters. We really liked it and had lots of one on one, especially with Prince Charming:lovestruc

We did the Storybook Breakfast in 2006 and both of my daughters loved it. The food was suprisingly good and the character interaction had my DD's in awe.

We were just at WDW last week and we did CRT for lunch and Akershus for breakfast. At CRT Cinderella was taking pictures downstairs and Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Belle in her blue dress came to the tables. At Akershus, Belle was taking the picture and Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, and Mulan came to the tables. I thought the locations were different enough to make it interesting. CRT also gives out magic wands (or swords for the boys) and does a "Wishing Ceremony" after lunch. My 4yo DD loved both meals though she was a little disappointed that we never saw Ariel. My 4yo DS probably would have liked to skip both meals, especially after Belle kissed him on the cheek! My DH really liked the breakfast food, especially the smoked salmon, at Akershus.
