CRT ADR's

Hi Everyone!

First trip to WDW and I'm so excited! My dd(7) wants nothing more than to eat at Cindy's for breakfast. Of course, I know this is a hard ADR to get, so I do have a back up (maybe 1900 Park Fare will be open for dinner).
Anyhow, I've read UG and it basically says that as soon as the CM answers the phone (hopefully at 7am on my 90th day) to just tell them RIGHT AWAY (before they get done saying HELLO) that you want ressies for CRT.

For those of you who have made and gotten your ADR's - is this what you did? I don't want to be rude to a CM or start shouting first thing - what do you do?

Thanks for the input by the way, this board has been so helpful in helping me decide where to eat and how to make this the best Disney vacation ever for my family. Not only is it our first trip to Disney world (I've been waiting 30 years for this trip), but its also our first trip as a family - YAY

We've never had trouble getting reservations at CRT, one on Christmas and one in July.

Oh thank you so much! I am very excited and Disney makes it so special. I have never been and just the thought of walking into MK and seeing the castle chokes me up

Today was my ADR day for Aug 6th. Tried to call this am but computers were down, I was not happy. I wasn't able to call until 3:30 today because I had to chaperone my son's class trip. I REALLY wanted Ohana's for Aug 6th but it was booked for dinner. I was not happy. I just called at 9:30 and still no Ohana's but I got CRT for 6pm. Hadn't planned on eating there but maybe it was meant to be...
