CRT ADR on DDP

Hello all! I'm on the deluxe DDP and will be trying for CRT ADRs shortly. I know that you are typically charged upfront when you make the CRT ADR, but how does this work on the DDP?

If you link the dining reservation to your resort/ddp reservation you won't be charged. You'll still need to have a credit card on file for no shows.

It's never worked for me when I try to link it online so I usually call.
