I have CRT ADR at 6:55pm and wonder if I will have enough time to see Happily Ever After scheduled at 9pm (as of current schedule). Should I try to move it up earlier? Advise please.

We had an ADR around that time (maybe a few minutes later) and had to wait to be seated for more than half an hour. We finished dinner just about 8:55. When we left the restaurant, we thought we would be trapped inside the castle and miss the fireworks because the CMs said we had to stay. We didn't complain. We had seen the them many times. Then suddenly a CM told us to exit through the front of the castle and go down to the front. We had front row fireworks views. Best fireworks ever! And a great and unexpected perk of CRT. That being said, you risk missing them with an ADR that late. They often run behind and it can be well after your ADR when you are finally seated. If the kitchen and servers are also running behind, you could very well miss the fireworks altogether.

What if you want to be inside for the fireworks?

We have an 8:15 ADR the last week of August. My kids really want to eat inside the castle, and I was hoping we could see the fireworks from inside just for extra magic...knowing that the view from the windows aren't the best AND that it's likely our party of three won't be seated near a window. Seeing the fireworks from CRT isn't a must for me (we'll have lots of chances during our week there to see the show), but...just in case we do get a great seat, I was hoping to time our dinner for the fireworks.

So my question is, is 8:15 an ok time or should I try for earlier? We'll be at the park the last week of August, which is extremely slow historically...but even so, I'm sure CRT is hopping. So should I try for an earlier seating, and if so, how early? Right now, there's a 7 pm slot open on our date for our number of people, but I think that might be a bit too early.

I will try to get earlier ADR, maybe around 6pm. Hoping for some magic to happen :)

8:15 will probably work, but not guarantees. I would keep trying for around 7:45. 7 is probably too early. We were out by 8:55 with our 7:10, and we had a long wait to be seated.

When we were there, in a busy September FD period, it was absolutely packed around our ADR (which I think was 7:10) and it took a long time to be seated. But by the time we were done and walked out at 8:55, there was no one at all waiting. So if you have an 8:15, you will probably be in before fireworks time.

I'm in the same boat. I'm so worried now haha I'm crossing my fingers that the fireworks at the end of july will be later than the 9pm schedule they're at now :(

I'm trying to find earlier ADR time and wish to get around 6pm..don't know if it is a long wait during 6pm-7pm or should I try earlier to be safe.

I really can't answer your question but just wanted to let you know fireworks inside CRT was magical! My girls and husband, yes my husband, still talk about it a year later! Pretty sure I posted a review of it around a year ago.

We have CRT reservations at 8:40 in October. What is it like eating in the castle while the fireworks are on?

I loved it! Your most likely not going to really get a good view of the fireworks, it's a different kind of magic. The music is piped in, the windows glow, you hear them going of, and you're right in the middle of it! My family had no idea it was going to happen and the look on my girls faces was priceless! They were amazed. It will never be the same as the first time but hubby said we have to do it on our next trip....and I thought it would be a one and done thing!
