CRT ADR arrival day?

Hello! I have reserved 2 times for Cinderellas Royal Table on arrival day, but I am unsure which one to keep.
Our flight gets in at 6am. We are also going to the halloween party that night.

1. 8:20am CRT breakfast (too close to arrival time?)
2. 2:45pm CRT lunch (close to halloween party start time, may not be able to check into hotel and change or rest first?)

The 8:20 is way too early. Honestly I wouldn't do a non-refundable meal that you have to pay for in advance on arrival day. Too many things can go wrong with flights.

Same as above-the 820 is way too early. We generally don’t do expensive meals on arrival day because if something falls through on travel, We don’t want to be on the hook for the cost.

Can I ask why not? We are doing an overnight flight (6+ hrs) and will be sleeping.

Maybe you will be sleeping maybe you won’t. Either way it is not a refreshing 8 hours in a bed. Not to mention you are homeless without a room until (potentially) 4 or later. You will also I assume have a significant time change.

I prefer a low key arrival day. I am a 3 hour flight away. I have arrived on time and up to 8 hours after my planned arrival. Plane issues or weather issues. Heck I was in Tampa airport in May when at least one plane was diverted from mco and stayed for 5 hours.

I will not book anything non-refundable on arrival day. Especially not such an expensive event as a party. Ymmv

How well do you sleep on a plane?? I'm lucky if I can doze for a few minutes. But even if I got a good night's sleep on the plane, I couldn't stay out at the parks until midnight after getting up at 6:00. And I'm a night owl.
