I have a reservation on april 27th for CRT at 9AM. The park opens at 8. I have never been to disney world and I have no idea how long it will take to get into the park. What time do you think we should arrive to make it to our reservation? thank you
If the park opens at 8AM, I'm taking a tiny wild guess that it is for EMH (Extra Magic Hours) in MK that day. Having checked the Walt Disney World website for park hours, it does not have anything currently listed for an 8AM opening time, but does have EMH hours for 10PM-12AM.
Moving on...
To make your reservation in time, I would suggest checking in roughly 15 minutes prior to your time. The pathway to the castle is straightforward, and the entrance to CRT is right at the back (there's a walkway that goes through the castle, so to speak, and if you take it, you'll end up right where you check in for CRT).
EDIT: Please also note, park hours do change as you arrive closer to your set dates. Especially set EMH hours. Do not be surprised if they switch days for early openings, or late closings. Prime example; in May and June, when I booked for our trips in October, one day had EMH hours listed for MK to open at 8. When we checked in, we learned the times had changed, and instead MK was extended to remain open until 12AM.
