Question for all WDW veterans!! We have an ADR for CRT Breakfast 10:15 a.m. on our 1st park day.. We plan to arrive at opening (not an EMH day, so opens at 9:00 a.m.) MY QUESTION: Do we just take our sweet time, stroll down Main St., try to get our "castle" pictures out of the way, this is the 1st time ever to WDW for all in our party except 2, so it WILL be overwhelming! I don't want to "Rush" just to get on a ride, my only fear is that when we get out of CRT the place will be packed!!

Any thoughts/suggestions?? Cinderellabration is at 9:40 a.m. that day, so I figure we will take our time & then walk up to the Castle, watch the show & then go in..By the way, where do you go in for CRT? Walk up the front steps of the castle? Are there signs pointing you in the right direction??

TIA!!

Since you have young children, I would definitely go directly to Fantasyland. That early, you can get at least three rides in. Dumbo first is a must.

Ditto!! That is the best time of the day to take advantage of Fantasyland with no wait or very short wait for the rides!! We always hit Fantasyland as the park opens, then move on to the other "lands" as the crowds get bigger in Fantasyland. We usually walk right onto the rides and get right back in line and walk back on!! It is great for DD (2), who has a very difficult time waiting for anything!! We plan to do this in October before our 10:20 CRT breakfast.

Another vote for Fantasyland! We went last fall, and went right to Fantasyland at rope drop- we rode Dumbo, Cindy's Carrousel, Snow White, Peter Pan, and Pooh all by 10:15 AM. I'd do at least Dumbo and either Pooh or Peter Pan before your b'fast. These three lines get long by mid-morning!

Plus, you will be in the perfect spot to check into the breakfast, which is near the rear entrance to the castle, located in fantasy land. Have fun!

Do Dumbo first and rush to get there. You can stroll Main Street, do castle pics, and watch the Cinderella Show anytime. The wait for Dumbo gets to be an hour + later in the day. You might want to have one person in your party go get fastpasses for Pooh while the rest are in line for Dumbo. Also get to MK 1/2 hour early so you can see the Pre-show. They still do the pre-show don't they??

IMMEDIATELY head to Tinker Bell's Treasures and ask if you can wake up Tinker Bell. Only the first family that asks each day gets the honor of doing this.

DON'T stop for Cinderellabration - the access to FantasyLand through the castle is blocked a certain amount of time before each show, and you will be unable to go through the castle, which means you will have to detour all the way around to the left or the right. The area behind the castle, where you will enter for your breakfast, is sometimes blocked as well because of the firework effect they use in the show. GO DIRECTLY to Fantasyland and ride a few rides before your breakfast time, but ASK A CAST MEMBER FIRST about where you should be and at what time in order to get into the castle.

We learned this the hard way one night when we almost missed a dinner reservation because the cast member couldn't decide how to advise us to get to the back of the castle. It was very stressful, with crying children, etc. so don't take the chance!

The rest of the Magic Kingdom will still be there after your breakfast - don't get too worried about crowds. If it's crowded, you will use FastPasses in order to get to the more popular rides without a long wait. And there are attractions in each area that are not as popular, so you'll have plenty to do while waiting.

Have fun!!!!

What time does this store open, and does it change seasonally?
Thanks!

I am in a similar predicament- I was thinking about heading over to Toontown to have DS2 picture taken with Mickey. Will this work out, or does toontown open later in the day (We are going end of Oct. if this makes any difference)- Thanks!

If I remember correctly, Toontown does not open until later in the morning, 11:00 perhaps? Not positive, but I remember the last time we went (February), Toontown was not open when the park opened at 9:00.
