Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport

Hi,
We are off to Disney in August and are flying Virgin from Manchester for the first time (we have always gone from Gatwick before). We have booked the Crowne Plaza at the airport for the night before. Is there anyone who has stayed there before who can tell me is it possible to walk from this hotel to the airport. We will use the shuttle bus with our luggage but wondered if we could check in (arriving by train) and leave our luggage at the hotel before heading to the airport for something to eat. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes it is. We have stayed there a few times and have always walked into the terminal for a meal.

You come out of the hotel entrance, walk past the entrance to a long stay car park on the left and then walk a little bit further. You will see a multi-story car park in front of you - cross over and walk through the car park into the terminal. You will need to go up in the lift.

Not sure if you are aware but the food choices before immigration are now limited at Manchester.

Thank you for that information it is very helpful. I had guessed that food options were restricted but we will have to eat something so will just have to have what is on offer. The reports I have read state the hotel is expensive to eat in so that may not be an option.
