Crown currency

Good afternoon everyone I just wanted to ask if any one has used Crown Currency before as I have ordered my $ for December at a good rate and now that I have handed over my money I want to hear good comments about them I hope .

I used them last year and they were excellent. Delivered on time and we got a really good rate. We're not going again til 2010 but I am going to use them again soon so that I can get almost $2 to the £1 again. Just waiting for some money to come through and it's all systems go! You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for your comment great to hear some one else has used them without any problems I can relax a little now , we got a rate of 1.8986 by booking with them today as we our not getting them until december when I looked in plymouth today the best I could get was 1.83 so more then happy with there rate .

make sure they are regulated because if they go bust you will lose your money

We've used them a couple of times and they've been spot on. But as has been said there is a risk if they go bust.

We used them back in 2006 without any problems at all. Would definitely use them again.

When they called me back with a quote yesterday I asked them the question about being regulated, as Orangetiggs recommended, and the guy said I was the second person to ask that day. He told me it should be fine as their accounts are all held with Barclays Bank?! Not sure if that would mean we were covered or not, so are looking into other options too.

I don't think they are regulated - just a Limited Company so you wouldn't get your money back if they went bust. I'm sure it's been on here before.

Saying that I have used them twice without problem but only on the 14-21 day rate.

Fingers crossed this will not happen , they where on the ONE show last month and Domminc littlewood there finacial expert was telling everyone they where a great company to use and this was the way to get a good deal on $ thanks for all your comments

I'm using them for my trip in October, I got in at $2.02.

I was going to order with them until i was told they weren't regulated. I cant afford it lose my money.
