I was wondering if someone can help me. What are the crowd levels like in WDW in Jan? Does it get crowded during the marathon? What about the week of MLK? Can someone PLEASE help me??!!?? Thanks!

January is the only time we've considered visiting WDW! The crowd level is very low with the exception of the first few days (left-overs from Christmas/NY). From what I understand, it does get a little busier around the marathon weekend. Not sure about MLK. We're going late January, as we have previously. Crowds definitely not a problem then.

Hi! I have been once in Jan and once in Feb. The crowd levels were MUCH better than in the summer. We noticed preschoolers and adults, since the school agers are in school. In my opinion, those months are the best time to go. The weather is better, too. Not too hot, though it can be cold! In Feb, there were windchills in the 30s! (But DF and I had our choice of places to watch Illuminations! :thumbsup2 )

I don't know about MLK or Presidents' weekends. The bargain rates are blacked out then, so they probably get larger crowds, don't need the good rates to entice us! Have fun, whatever you decide!

We usually go right before MLK - crowds are minimal at best and the weather is just fine [considering we are escaping snow and cold!]. FP is rarely needed it seems since most rides are walk on or a very short wait. I think it is a great time to go...

Marathon weekend is crowded from what I hear but I've never been there over that actual weekend.
