So, I'm from South Florida originally. When I was little, we'd go four or five times a years. I thought I could maybe list rides that I have trouble with, to help other adults, and/or children. Since I'm a scaredy cat.

Okay, that's not fair. I'm totally fine with a lot of motion. What I can't do is big drops. So I'm going to list the rides that I can't do. If anyone else wants to contribute, go ahead, or if anyone has questions why some rides aren't doable so that they can make an informed decision for themselves or their children, ask away!

Doctor Doom
Dragon Challenge
Dudley Do-Right
Flight of the Hippogriff (I might have cried on The Flying Unicorn when I was like eight)
Gringotts killed me (not actually)
Jurassic Park River Adventure
RRR
Twirl 'n' Hurl
Pteranodon Fliers
Mummy
Hulk
Simpsons (actually, I could do Back to the Future, so)
Woody Woodpecker, because if you couldn't tell, I'm a wimp

Hope this helps people!

go to www.universalorlando.com

read up on all the ride descriptions to see information and details of rides, shows in the parks.

what one person can do, another might not be able to handle.
some peeps have a fear of heights.

checking out what is in the parks on the UO site, will be beneficial
you will know in advance what to expect

Totally agree! No one should go off my list. But it's a good place to start, I think, and a good way to start conversations about why I can't do certain rides and why others might be able to, and why maybe they can't do things that I can. It's just a good place to start the conversation.

Question for OP, is that a list of rides you can't do any longer? As in, 'these are on my list of things I am scared of through experience.' If so, good for you for trying them.

I am very scared of heights. That is what really gets my blood pumping for the big roller coasters at Uni. Being scared adds to the excitement. One of the scariest things to me is the initial ride up RRR. I need to be two clicks past tight for coasters.

What makes me apprehensive is motion sickness. The worst one for me is Forbidden Journey. Been on it a hundred times, but never without taking meclizine first. Never did like the teacups either.

Oh and you also get five points for the semi-obscure Jedi reference.

Hey! Yeah, I have a lot in common with Tahiri, which sounds like an exaggeration, but. Anywho.

I've ridden all of these except Doctor Doom, Dragon Challenge, Dudley Do-Right, RRR, Twirl 'n' Hurl, Mummy, and Hulk. Those, I just know I can't do. If I can't do the kiddie coasters, I can't do RRR, and so on. But all of the others, I've ridden! It's not so much the heights for me, it's the feeling of continued acceleration in one direction. I can't ride in fast cars with the roof down either.

How big is the drop on this ride? compared to say Splash Mountain and what is up with Jurrasic Park ride? is there a big drop on there too?

I don't know how big the drop is on Dudley Do-Right (I can ask my partner when he gets home), but I know Jurassic Park is ~80 ft. I'm not sure how steep the angle is, I last rode it when I was seven or eight. If you've ridden Dinosaur at AK, I'd say Dinosaur is more atmospheric (read, scary) than Jurassic Park, but I'm almost positive the drop is worse on Jurassic Park.

Dudley has a 75 foot drop

Jurassic Park has an 84 foot drop

Splash has a 52.4 foot drop........according to Google.

Dudley and JP drops are fabulous!

Thank you for posting this.I am a scaredy cat as well and I am interested in hearing about kong.I really want to do the JP ride but also afraid on the drop mostly the steepness and speed.

I'm so glad it's helpful! I've ridden JP a few times--when I was little, my parents would talk me into it. I don't like how the drop feels.

I'm really excited about Kong. I'm not personally worried about it, but that doesn't mean it'll be all right for you. I get the impression that it's a lot like Spiderman?

I have never ridden spiderman either.

Kong is NOTHING like Spider-Man. You basically get into a truck, similar to one at AK.......have a drive through.....you never go fast or drop........there is a simulation and then it's over.......it's very good and would be a shame to miss it.

Spider-Man is a different ride. You do get tossed around, not dreadful.......but no drops except a simulated one.......but you don't feel as though you're falling. Transformers is similar to Spider-Man. Same ride, different storyline.......

JP is a fabulous ride........and the drop is fun......if you like drops of course........we love it! It's fast, very fast and not as steep as you might think......

loring, you should check out YouTube videos since you are so nervous. It might just put your mind at ease.....some of the rides aren't as bad as you might think.

Still excited about Kong. What I can't do is drops or fast acceleration in one direction (roller coasters).

I'm very acquainted with Spider-Man and Transformers.

I was really speaking to loring regarding both rides as she isn't acquainted with the rides. Your quote was only in there to explain to her that Spider-Man is nothing like Kong.

Thank you so much!I will definitely look at the videos.I have not been at the parks for many years.I really appreciate all the advice.

It's a good idea.......what some people think of rides and the reality can be very different........and if you haven't been a regular to the parks over the last years, you will see huge differences........they are amazing experiences!
