Curious to know what the crowds were like this weekend. Also, does anybody know how crowded the parks are at this time of year?

TIA!:goodvibes

I wouldn't go off this last weekend (first Halloween Party and Gay Days) but Halloween time in general is a pretty crowded time of year.

DD and I were there over the weekend and it was very crowded. This time of year is always busy but this past weekend was much more so.

Very crowded yesterday! HMH wait time was 70 minutes in the standby line the two times we were there in the afternoon/early evening and the FP return was 3-4 hours from time they were picked up. The biggest indicator for me was waiting 10 minutes for the Winnie the Pooh ride.:laughing:

I agree with the two pp, it was heavy on Saturday and Sunday. Almost all the rides were past the wait time than the normal days. Just like what barefootmomma said that HMH was a long wait to get on and luckily they had the FP machines running.

It was very crowded this weekend. Small World (what we used to gauge since DD loves it and it's usually a walk on) was a 30 minute wait. Line for meeting Mickey started out before the black & white movie (so that was a 30 minute wait). The line for the Matterhorn (the one that loads near extended back to Tomorrowland

We usually can fit 4 rides in about 4 hours and meet some characters (our DD only has about 4 hours between naps). Yesterday, we met the princesses, MIckey and did small world then had to go home. I also thought the crowds were pushier/meaner/more stressed than usual (at least the people we were in line with, yuck).

YIKES this frightens me...We are going on Fri Oct 15th...Are the crowds usually lighter on weekdays this time of year?

I don't remember specifically---but I believe 10/15 is a Halloween Party day. So yes, that day will be very crowded starting in the afternoon. DLP closes at 7pm, and Halloween Party ppl get to arrive (I think) at 4pm (or is it 5pm...can't remember). So between 4 to 7 you have regular park ppl and Halloween Party ppl. Everyone who doesn't have a party ticket then rushes over to DCA.

I was at DLP on Oct. 1, and at around 4pm it became slightly unbearable. We did alot of baby rides (Winnie the Pooh) and fastpassed Haunted Mansion. Even w/fastpasses the line was at least 20-25 minutes long for HM.

At around 6pm it was hard to walk through the crowds. It was fun to watch ppl coming in in their costumes though.
