Hello All,
Just wondering if any Disneyland vets could give a Disneyworld Vet a insider look on what the weekend before Christmas (arriving 21st, leaving 25th) will be like in terms of crowds, etc? Will the parks be hitting capacity numbers? or will it just be more of a typical weekend until things gear up between Xmas and New Years?

Any help is appreciated!!

Expect capacity numbers. :scared1: I've gone almost every year at around that time since 2001, and it's nuts. Keep it in perspective, relax and have fun.
:dance3:

I expect crowds but interestingly enough you can still book rooms at most hotels on Harbor. I booked my hotel only a few weeks ago. Thats sort of tells me either less crowds or a lot of last minute trips like me!

I wouldn't go near that place with a 10 foot poll that week!! Just seeing how big the crowds were for Halloween time turning some of the schools fall breaks, that place will be a zoo during winter break and that close to Christmas! Good luck! :)

Three years ago I went to Disneyland during that week and it was :crowded: . I usually spend HOURS at DL without a long break, but during that trip I went back to the hotel for over two hours. NEVER again will I go at that time. ;)

Those dates looked pretty packed out (based on our hotel reservations system).

My older son and I were there with friends three years ago from the 18th to the 22nd (Saturday to Tuesday) and it was jam packed. One night it was so crowded they were letting people walk through the "backstage" of Main Street to get them out of the park after the fireworks.

The same thing happened to us several times during the week before Xmas.

It is actually going to be very crowded. Last year we went the Wednesday and Thursday before Christmas and while W was not bad, Th was definitely starting to get crowded. I assume it only just gets worse by Friday and continues to worsen into the week of Christmas.
