Crowds week prior to Easter...

I'm sure I read this question asked previously, but can't seem to find it now. When speaking of enormous crowd levels for Easter week, do they mean the week prior to Easter Sunday, or the week after, or both? We were planning a trip for the middle of March, but my DD's school isn't doing Spring Break this year, but we could switch to the week prior to Easter.

Help! Any thoughts?

The crowds build during the week before Easter and are at their highest the week after Easter.

Its the only time we are able to go, so we have learned to manage the crowds.

Fastpass is a must!

Priority Seating too!

Breaks during the day as the parks open early and stay open late.

Soooo much fun!

We have gone during summer quite often, so we are used to summer crowds, and we don't really mind too much. There are pros and cons - bigger crowds, but later hours, etc. We have never gone during Easter, so a little unsure of the difference. Very grateful for your advice!!

Some people think we are nuts for going when its busy, but it sorta adds to our vacation

I am (DH's words) a control/planning freak!

Make sure you get your PS's done at the 90 day mark, which is right now. Some of the popular places fill very fast.

Take breaks and enjoy your resort/hotel.

Take it all in stride and you will have a great time. (listen to me! control freak!)

I know what you mean - people think we are crazy simply for going to Disney so often!!! And I am also a planning freak! We had a friend of mine go with us one year, and she thought that my PS's and touring plans were a little over the edge!
