Crowds Week of Jan 6th

Dh can't get the following week off so we might need to up Disney a week. How bad will the crowds be the week of Jan 6th?

I don't think the week of the 6th will be too bad. Most schools will be back in session on the 7th, and if you get to go on the 6th, you will still see all the Christmas decorations and be able to see the Christmas parade and fireworks. We went last year during this time and thought it was a great time to go.

I agree. A lot of people will be heading home on the 6th, so the parks should be fairly pleasant. With schools starting up again on the 7th, along with adults having to go back to work at somepoint after the holidays , the week of the 6th should be great!

We are arriving the 6 and staying until the 9th. We don't expect heavy crowds at all. I think all the California schools except ours (which is located in the central valley so no worries there) are back in session.

Oh and I forgot to add that when we booked our AP rate rooms at the DLH the CM told me that they were expecting low crowds and the hotel wasn't that full. Sounds perfect to me!
