Will also be there this weekend and my friend has been there this week. She said crowds look heavy and the usual rides still have long wait times but if you've been to WDW before, you will know ways to avoid the long waits etc. She told me if you have your FP and your get to the parks early, which we always do, you will have a blast. And eat at off times. We always go in the summer and February since that's when my kids are out and it's always crowded. We still have a great time. Pack your patience and you'll be fine!!Is anyone in the world right now? We arrive on Friday and I would love to know how crowds are. Are there still low summer crowds?
Agree, that's a 10 min wait max ride to sit in the air and cool off/relaxI was there over the weekend and thought it was really crowded. 60 minute wait for living with the land is crazy to me.
Ya I couldn't believe people were waiting in that line. We actually ended up fast passing it which I never thought I'd use a fast pass for.Agree, that's a 10 min wait max ride to sit in the air and cool off/relax
It was hot and no rain the entire day. As far as I could tell no ride had broken down either. The waits for all the rides were pretty high that day. Spaceship Earth's fast pass line was going back towards the entrance and it was in the middle of the afternoon when that line usually drops down pretty low.How was the weather outside? A thunderstorm changes everything
I think the increased crowds had something to do with the blackout dates being lifted (we were there because of that) and it's still summer. But I know kids are starting to go back to school soon so I'm thinking the crowds should lighten up a little. I was also there over a weekend which is usually busier than if you're there over the weekdays.Anyone else reading this and sweating a little (I leave in 9 days)?
I will say I have been different times between mid May and early August and have found it the crowd levels to be relatively arbitrary. For instance my sister and I were in Magic Kingdom on a morning to mid day late last June and everything was walk on or short wait. But two days later it was at least 60 minutes for everything there.
I thought we were crazy for going in late June but with the exception of a couple of days crowds really weren't an issue.
So many factors come into play now I am wondering if the crowd calendars have become arbitrary. This includes blackout dates, extra magic hours, and other features I am learning about by watching this board.
Agree- you know it's gonna be busy but the crowd calendar apps/sites really aren't as effective as they used to be. You just never know how the day at any of the parks will be.Anyone else reading this and sweating a little (I leave in 9 days)?
