Crowds the weekend before Memorial Day

We will be going to WDW Friday May 21 - Tuesay May 25th. I know weekends are the most crowded, but how crowded is the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. It will just be my wife and I and I was hoping that it would not be too bad.

We went May 19-24 in 1999 and the crowds were low and the weather was hot, but not unbearable. We're headed back this May 20-25 so we're hoping for no crowds again and maybe a little less heat. Have a great trip and maybe we'll see you there!

We've done the same time in May three times (as long as it's the week "before" the Holiday) and it's been a great time to head to WDW. The weather is very hot! Found it to be 90 or better each day. I like it hot--but my kids don't like it quite so warm. The crowds are very low and managable. One of our favorite times to go. Note: We did our first trip over Memorial Weekend and never, ever again. It was crazy!

disneyfanatic60, we were married on Memorial Day Weekend in 1996 and went down with with our son on a honeymoon / family vacation. I remember how hot it was and crowded. We have been 2 times since, both a week or two after Thanksgiving (always the time we went when I was growing up), so it will be weird going down there again withouth the holiday decoratoins and I will get to see the Country Bears in origional form again

We were there last May during that week and will be there again this year. Wasn't too busy. Longest wait was about 15 mins for Dumbos. We used FP a lot and took advantage of EMH. We used Tourguide Mike's itineraries.

MGM was really crowded one day we were there (not a Staw Wars weekend day). Everything else was good all week.
