Crowds question

Can someone tell me generally how heavy the crowds are around Aug. 31 - Sept. 4?

Last year I remember (I think) it being pretty dead when we went around this time but i can't remember enough to be positive about that.

I have heard that it can get fairly busy, but nothing unmanageable with a plan. This will be my first time during that time, so I am just going by what I have read!

Well looking back more, we went the weekend AFTER NOJ (this time the week before NOJ) and it was DEAD!

We have AP's and go every few months but, I forgot what it was like at that time but, now I remember but we're going two weeks before on this trip. so we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I was there last year at that time and it really wasn't too crowded. I did follow Tour Guide Mikes touring plan, but it was very doable, crowd wise. Enjoy!!

Aug.31st - Sept. 2nd looks a little busy, but then it drops off after that. Hope this helps!

We will be there 8/31-9/5. I am wondering about crowds also, as originally we were supposed to go 9/7-9/12 but had to change due to DH work schedule.
